We aim to make lap quilts and cushions as gifts for children and adults with long term illnesses such as Cancer, Leukaemia, Fibromyalgia, MS and ME (also known as CFS). These conditions cause a wide range of disabilities - sufferers need plenty of rest or are bed ridden, often end up in wheelchairs and need a lot of support. These illnesses can last for many, many years and in many cases never get cured. It can be a depressing time and our goal is to let these people know that someone out there cares for them, is wishing them well and that they should never give up hope.
